Due to a recent upgrade of hardware and operating system on the servers that run Casweb we have unfortunately had to remove the 'Map View' interface to the 1991 Great Britain SAS and LBS.
The CDU took a decision to move to a 64 bit version of Windows Server in order to maintain pace with technology, however, this has also meant upgrading all the software that runs Casweb, one of these software applications, Autodesk Mapguide, which is used to serve up the 'Map View' interface, has gone through major changes with it's 64 bit version. In order to keep using Mapguide on our new hardware, the CDU would be required to rewrite the whole map interace code, something that, unfortunately at this moment, we do not currently have the time or resources to do.
The CDU are will beinvestigating options for a new and improved 'Map View' interface that can be used for both 1991 and 2001 censuses, to have increased functionality and ease of use.
