Following on from People and places: a 2001 census atlas of the UK, which mapped the Key Statistics for Local Authorities, Identity in Britain maps smaller geographical areas and covers seven age bands from infancy to the final years of life. Innovative categorical mapping techniques are used to map the mixing that does or does not occur in early 21st century Britain, for a wide range of census variables as well as data from other sources.
